Caroline Godwin · Discipline 06
Greeting is the first thing a guest meets, and it sets the temperature for everything that follows. Caroline builds her own costumes, so a greeter can be created to a brand, a theme or a colour palette rather than pulled from a rental rack — working the door, the queue line, the red carpet or the room.
What's in the Set
A costumed character stationed at the entrance to welcome guests as they arrive. The cheapest way to make an ordinary doorway feel like the start of something.
Any character can be staffed as a photo op with a handler and a queue line, so guests arrive, pose, post and move along.
Working the room rather than a fixed post — mingling, posing, and reappearing through the night in different looks.
Full-body alien, lizard and lizard-alien looks with body paint and prosthetic styling. Genuinely unsettling in the best way.
Mushroom, flower, butterfly — soft, family-friendly, and the best greeters for daytime events and photo queues.
Cheshire Cat, Sally, tiger, disco dancer and devil — recognisable looks for themed events.
Illuminated futuristic looks for club and after-dark greeting.
A greeter taken up — on stilts through the crowd, or a character in the air. The alien in the aerial sphere is the strongest example.
Product handling, flyering or sampling built into the greet, so the character earns its place on the budget twice.

Where & How It Happens
The default booking — a character posted where guests arrive, for a set number of hours.
Halloween, immersive events, brand worlds, private estates.
AREA15, art festivals, Burning Man camps and art cars.
Nature and whimsy characters are built for kids, parades and daytime activations.
A greeter built in the brand's palette, driving booth traffic and handling product.
Character looks photograph extremely well and are frequently booked for stills rather than live audiences.
Figures tagged Caroline to confirm are drafted from standard industry practice and still need to be checked against her actual equipment before this page goes to a client.
